羽田から北九州へ飛行機で来ました。小倉からはJRを利用しました。
I flew in Kitakyushu from Haneda. I came here by JR Line from Ogura.
—なぜ関門エリアに来たいと思ったのですか？
—Why did you want to come to the Kanmon area?
旦那さんの実家がある長崎への帰省途中に門司港へ寄りました。今日は門司港で宿泊します。
We came to Mojiko on the way to going back to his parents’ home. Tonight we are going to stay in Mojiko.
—観光にあたって何を参考にしましたか？
—What did you refer to for sightseeing?
るるぶとインターネットで調べました。
We used Rurubu and also searched on the internet.

焼きカレーとふぐは食べたことがあります。今は、歩きながら食べられるものを探していたんですけど。何かあるかな〜。
I have eaten grilled curry and blowfish before. Now I was looking for something to eat while walking. I wonder if we could find something.

門司港はレンタサイクルでぐるっと回ろうかと思っています。関門橋の麓辺りとか。特に場所は決めてないんです。明日は下関の唐戸市場へ行く予定です。
We are thinking to rent bikes and go around Mojiko. Around the foot of Kanmon strait bridge. Tomorrow we are going to go to Karato Marketplace in Shimonoseki.

門司港駅を楽しみにしていたのに、まだ改修工事中だったので見られなくて残念でした。これから町巡りを楽しもうと思います。明日の唐戸市場も楽しみです。
We were looking forward to Mojiko station, but it was still under construction so we couldn’t see it. That’s a pity. I am looking forward to the Karato market tomorrow.
